Mission Trip Presentation! With Mission Camp behind us, the youth will give a presentation about it during a Wednesday Night Supper on September 1st, from 5:45pm to 7:00pm. Sign up at Sunday worship or with the church office. Cost of the dinner is $5 per adult and $1 per child.
Fall Mountain Retreat! The youth will be going to Damascus, VA between September 17-19th. We will play some great games, fellowship, have group devotions, bike the Virginia Creeper Trail, and plan our upcoming youth year. Sign up with Steven if you plan on attending.

Church emphasizes five areas: worship,
study, ministry within the congregation, service to the
community, and fellowship.
Worship is when we come
together to worship God as a group or within the whole congregation,
through praying, sharing, singing, devotions, and more.
Study is when we explore and discuss different topics and issues that connect with our Scriptures and our faith.
Ministry within the congregation is all the service that we do with and for the other members of our CMC family.
Service to the community is all the service and helping acts that we do for those outside of our CMC family.
Fellowship
is everything else — all the socials, retreats, fun and recreational
activities we do that build trust and community within our group.
We're about to kick off the New Youth Year with a Cookout this Sunday at the church pavilion at 5pm and a Retreat to Laurel Ridge next weekend (Sept 18-20). Now is the perfect time to join our group!
