Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one ministry provided by lay people who have been trained to do confidential, care-giving. If you are in need of a Stephen minister, please contact the pastor.
Each year, our Middle and Senior High youth, along with adult volunteers, participate in local short-term mission trips, as well as work camps abroad, to help those in need. Whether we are asked to paint a room, build a wheelchair ramp, or repair a leaky roof, we are thankful for the opportunities to love and take care of one another as our Lord Jesus Christ commissioned us to do.
Helping Hands is a group of people dedicated to helping others by providing transportation, running errands or any other assistance requested.
The Clemmons Elementary Listener Program pairs warm, caring church members with Clemmons Elementary students who might be in need of adult friends to simply listen to them. The volunteer and student meet on a one-to-one basis once a week for 20-30 minutes – sharing conversation and having special experiences. The benefits are two-fold; students eagerly await their weekly visits, and volunteers have their lives enriched by reaching out to a child. If you are interested in becoming a listener, please contact the church office.
Clemmons Moravian Church was pleased to accept the United Way Business Volunteer Award in May 2006. This award honored church members who have participated in the Listener Program at Clemmons Elementary School over the past 5 years.
